Whale Tufnol Sheet:
Whale Tufnol is made by laminating phenolic impregnated cotton weave sheets under pressure to produce a plastic that is strong, tough and a wear resistant mechanical grade material. Whale Tufnol is also very rigid and has low voltage electrical resistance. Whale Tufnol Sheet is light brown in colour and has a vague resemblance to laminated plywood. The sheet ranges in thickness normally from 0.6mm to over 200mm thick although thicker sheet is available to order.

Uses for Whale Tufnol Sheet:
Whale Tufnol is considered to be a mechanical grade and is most suitable for wear blocks, spacers, jigs and fixtures along with gears, pulley and above waterline marine applications.
